HTET Application Fee 2025

Once paid, the fee is non-refundable under any circumstances.

HTET Eligibility Criteria 2025 (Level-Wise)

HTET Level-1 (PRT – Class I to V)

• Senior Secondary (50%) with D.El.Ed / B.El.Ed
• OR Graduation with D.El.Ed
• Hindi/Sanskrit as a subject at Matric level

HTET Level-2 (TGT – Class VI to VIII)

• Graduation (50%) with B.Ed
• OR B.El.Ed / D.El.Ed (as applicable)
• Subject-specific eligibility required

HTET Level-3 (PGT – Class IX to XII)

• Post-Graduation (50%) in relevant subject
• B.Ed degree mandatory
• Hindi/Sanskrit qualification required

Eligibility must be fulfilled before the final selection, not merely at the time of the exam.

HTET Exam Pattern 2025

The HTET exam is conducted in offline (pen-paper) mode.

• Total Questions: 150 MCQs
• Total Marks: 150
• Duration: 150 minutes
• Negative Marking: No

Level-1 Exam Subjects

• Child Development & Pedagogy
• Hindi
• English
• Mathematics
• Environmental Studies

Level-2 & Level-3 Exam Subjects

• Child Development & Pedagogy
• Language (Hindi/English)
• Subject-Specific Questions

All question papers are bilingual (Hindi & English) except language papers.

Qualifying Marks – HTET 2025

There is no limit on the number of attempts for HTET.

Validity of HTET Certificate

One of the biggest advantages of HTET is its lifetime validity. Once qualified:

• The HTET certificate remains valid for life
• Candidates may reappear to improve their score
• Certificate validity applies to all three levels

Why HTET Is Important for Teaching Jobs

Qualifying HTET is mandatory for:

• Haryana Government Schools
• Aided schools under Haryana State
• Many private school recruitments

Without HTET qualification, candidates are not eligible for teacher recruitment in Haryana.
