TG TET Eligibility Criteria 2025
Eligibility for TG TET Paper I (Classes I to V)
Candidates must fulfil one of the following:
- Intermediate / Senior Secondary with 50% marks
(45% for SC/ST/BC/Differently Abled)
AND - 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) /
4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed) /
Diploma in Education (Special Education)
OR
- Intermediate with 45% marks (40% for reserved categories)
AND D.El.Ed/B.El.Ed (for candidates admitted before 23-12-2015)
Eligibility for TG TET Paper II (Classes VI to VIII)
Candidates must satisfy any one of the following:
- Graduation (B.A/B.Sc/B.Com) with 50% marks
(45% for reserved categories)
AND B.Ed / B.Ed (Special Education) - 4-year B.A.Ed / B.Sc.Ed with required percentage
- Language teachers with Graduation/Post-Graduation in the concerned language and relevant training certificate
- B.E/B.Tech with 50% marks and B.Ed
Final-year students of eligible courses are also permitted to appear for TG TET 2026, subject to qualification completion before Recruitment.
