CTET December 2025 Notification OUT: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has officially released the CTET Notification 2025 for the CTET February 2026 cycle. The online application process began from 27 November 2025, and aspiring teachers for Classes 1–8 can now register for the Central Teacher Eligibility Test.

CTET is one of the most important eligibility exams for teaching posts in KVS, NVS, CBSE-affiliated schools, Central Government schools, private schools, and several State Government schools that accept CTET scores.

The eligibility is based on NCTE norms.

Eligibility for CTET Paper 1 (Primary Teacher: Classes 1–5)

Any one of the following:

• 12th (50%) + 2-year D.El.Ed
• 12th (50%) + 4-year B.El.Ed
• Graduation + 2-year D.El.Ed
• 12th (45%) + D.El.Ed (as per NCTE norms)

Eligibility for CTET Paper 2 (Upper Primary Teacher: Classes 6–8)

Any one of the following:

• Graduation + B.Ed
• Graduation + 2-year D.El.Ed
• 12th (50%) + 4-year B.El.Ed
• 12th + B.Sc.B.Ed / B.A.B.Ed
• Graduation (50%) + 1-year B.Ed (as per NCTE norms)

✔ Reserved categories get 5% relaxation in qualifying marks (as per bulletin).

📝 CTET Exam Pattern 2025

CTET consists of two papers:

• Paper 1 → For teaching Classes 1–5
• Paper 2 → For teaching Classes 6–8

Both papers have 150 MCQs and no negative marking.

Step 1 – Visit the CTET Official Website

Step 2 – Click on “Apply Online” for CTET February 2026

Step 3 – Fill the Registration Form

Enter details like:

• Candidate name
• DOB
• ID type & number
• Gender

You will receive a Registration/Application Number — save it safely.

Step 4 – Upload Photo and Signature

As per official specs:

• Photo: 10–100 KB (3.5×4.5 cm)
• Signature: 3–30 KB (3.5×1.5 cm)

Step 5 – Pay the Examination Fee
